Telltale Desktop

A nav station at the chart table. Records the instruments, shows the weather, and works with no signal.

Set it up

1. Install Mac: open the disk image and drag Telltale Desktop to Applications. Coming from Telltale Recorder 0.2? Install this once by hand.
2. Find instruments Nothing found?
3. Keep it running Lid open, plugged in; the screen can go dark. A closed lid sleeps the laptop and stops the recording.
4. Link it Every sail arrives on its own after that.

Start with your phone; add a laptop or a boat computer when you want every sail without thinking about it.

A Raspberry Pi on the instrument network. Records whenever the instruments are on.

Telltale reads your instruments. It writes to them only when you ask it to, such as setting up an Actisense gateway.
